Look. We need Rune/Gem Stash Tab

Even Mods have this kind of beautiful Rune/Gem/Etc stash tab (Path of Diablo has an amazing currency stash)

It’s hard to believe that you(the Vicarious Studio and Blizzard) can’t pull it.

YOU should be able to make a better one

I loved every bit of your work, D2R

But its been 20 years

I would love to see this kind of improvement on QoL

I’d be perfectly happy if runes / gems / potions just stacked (in the stash alone; inventory can stay the same).

Honestly, I’m already pretty happy with the massively improved stach space and ease of muling but I’m a greedy hoarder

It’s mind boggling how d2classic had a 24 square stash. And LOD (which introduced a TOOON more items to collect) merely double it to 48. And Blizzard was all advertising on the game box “ZOMG DOUBLE THE STASH SPACE”.

In random news, I’ll be really annoyed if they introduce a separate charm inventory of some such. That’s a big NONO.

Nah, no need. Every ounce of space given is just one more decision not needed. But not many seem to get this point. Just my opinion.

Rune/Gem stash tab, or letting them stack when placed in the stash.

I just dedicated a shared tab to runes and one to gems. when i get too many of a single type, i just combine them.

Why dedicated tabs, instead of just more space in general?

Nope we don’t need that tab… we just need Ingredient stacking

You have stash tabs. You’re free to put whatever you want in them.

Look. We don’t need rune/gem stash tab.

Im fine with the introduction of stacking in stash. But you know damn well if they ever did, the SAME DAY we’re going to have 20 threads complaining the stack is toooooo small.

Honestly id make the stack limited to 3. The amount of runes/gems needed to transmute to the next tier.

I assume you didn’t play much of the original D2 because you don’t realize gems and runes were the primary trade currency of the game. Many items could go for over 50 Pgems. People didn’t arbitrarily decide to fill their stash with gems and runes.

I would prefer unlimited stash space myself. For runes, gems, one of every set/unique/runeword etc. That is what I want. I might even be willing to pay more for it.

This game is not the same as far as items are concerned. You really have to think through your build BEFORE you start building and have an idea of what items you want and which to sell immediately. There is no need for hundreds of stash spaces like D3 as there are few set pieces etc. that you might want to keep for another character build. Right now in my original version of D2 (that I can actually play) I don’t have much gear other than gems and runes in my stash.

I’m fine with this as long as charms don’t get their own inventory.

The design philosophy behind charms is how much inventory space will you give up for stats. The balancing on charms is that you may do more damage/be more survivable, but you spend more time doing inventory tetris or you sell/keep less items to make up for it. That’s the tradeoff they represent, and a charm inventory misses the point of charms.

This is the kind of qol stuff I would like to see. I would gladly pay for it as an mtx too.

Stacking this stuff would seriously kill big part of low rune / gem trading that benefits new players and poor players.

Yes to Shared Resource Stash tab!

I believe it’s not that Blizzard / Vicarious Studio can’t pull it off, it’s just that they didn’t want to deviate too much from the classical Diablo 2 experience, even though they did add some nice QOL additions to the game and extra stashes.

Given the amount of people asking for a Shared Resource stash, I’m sure they’ll consider it and even implement it at some point. Hopefully soon because I hate creating mule characters with passion.

kind of how tabs in PoE work.

Some stuff doesnt stack at all normally, but they have a 1time buy tab for acct that allows unstackable stuff to stack in said tab only.

only tab i think that doesnt have stacking are the unique item tab (as lets u store 1 copy of every unique)

+1 bring on the QoL that we need Blizz
