Everytime i try to enter the boss room in tal rashas tomb there is a long loading screen. After about 5 seconds on the load screen you can hear attacks being landed by the boss. And by the time the load screen goes away I’ve been killed. It’s happened 10 times at least. Doesn’t matter if i try to spam portions on the load screen, go in with a mercenary or not, (using a necromancer) go in with no skeletons or golem or go in with 7. Because of this, the game is unplayable considering there’s nothing i can do to get past the end of act 2. Any suggestions that i haven’t already tried? MAYBE, FIX THE GAME BLIZZARD? I’m on PS4. Don’t know if this problem is occurring on any other platform.

i’m getting the same.
Popping one of those fancy ice-resist-potions before entering the boss room (and increasing your ice resistence in general) may or may not buy you enough time to actually be able to defeat duriel.
Anyway, that will probably only help in normal difficulty, you’d probably still be stuck in nightmare later.
Another piece of information: The loading screens in singleplayer mode tend to be a lot shorter across the consoles and pc.

I’m also getting this issue, can’t get in to fight him, insta death on entering room
i’ve been reporting this issue since the beta and according to this forums the possible solutions are:
1- the problem is in your end, try not to die so often. so git gud. (this doesn’t work for me since i can’t gid gud at loading screens no matter how many times i try)
2- get better hardware, with the same money you can buy a ps4 you can buy a 4090 and a good past gen i9 with fastest m2 and still have money left for a lamborghini or two. git gud. hrdwr. (then again, where i live, a stock i7 wiith an m2 and a 2060 with bare minimum ram costs literally 5 times more than a brand new ps4, i still don’t know how people build gaming pcs that compare to a ps4 with just $20, 20 bucks don’t even buy an indie game where i live, there’s an added 24% tax to digital purchases)
3-download a lv99 savegame and hack it to bypass the account restrictions and you’re done. (i get people pay to get max level nowdays but if i knew how to hack a savegame id be bypassing the fight, not skipping the fun part, playing normally)
4-go play D3, you filthy cassual, D2 is the perfect game and you shouldn’t be staining it’s purity with your slimy hands. (i shouldn’t need to point out why it isn’t a solution)
5- go play something else if you don’t like the design choices the team made (and that’s why after getting my 5th character wipe i got back to skyrim, im told the game wasn’t made for the likes of me, a non-elite peasant)
choose your poison and move on, in my experience, this lair isn’t friendly to people with inferior hardware that runs actually better games.
That’s the classical experience as I remember it. This attention to the detail is mind-blowing lol.
Yeah i have the same problem. Why the hell would they put a boss right after a load screen. I lost a lot of Gold because of this.
