The D2R lobby chat is overrun with spammers. They are even going into games and spamming. There is currently no way to stop them. Right-click → Block does not work. The entire blocklist is broken, I can’t add or remove entries from the list.
/squelch doesn’t work because the spammers user player names such as IlIIIllIII (are those the letter I or the letter L? Good luck trying to squelch that, lol.)
/ignore doesn’t work either. According to the /help description, it should allow me to block all of public chat but it does nothing.
Right-click → Report Spam doesn’t work it doesn’t auto-block like it should while you guys are reviewing it.

It looks like their common response is to ignore them. why should we bother doing that. there should be a bot in chat where it auto bans any spammers account, if they still connect ban their ip. when the 3rd offense happens then subnet ban the entire area. then you can fix individual accounts as they come up.
Common Blizzard, I’m tired of my seat being taken and put into a waiting queue for a bot that just spams chat.
oh yeah, they figured out how to get into the game chat, as well as the trade chat now.
when is enough going to be enough? I should not have to ignore anything. you should just grow some balls and ban these bastards.
