i actually ment somethng like this:
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "" /Realtime /Affinity F "C:\Games\Diablo II Resurrected\D2R.exe" -username yourbnaccounthere -password yourbnpasswordhere -Address eu.actual.battle.net
the above is a shortcut to command propmt to utilize start command to launch diablo 2 resurrected D2R.exe not the damn launcher. i also specified the highest possible priority for D2R.exe in windows ( without alt tabing to task manager) because my rig is a potato ( you can skip this if you want) also set to use core 0 core1 core2 and core3 ( just a gimmick for me since i only have 4 cores total), specified executable path, and three launch parameters for D2R.exe
-username after this you specifiy your battlenet account email
-password after this you specify your battlenet account password
-address afther this you specify either eu.actual.battle.net or us.actual.battle.net or kr.actual.battle.net, this is to determine the realm europe, america or asia.
the above three commandline parameters when specified allow you to just double clock the game without having to log into battle.net or the launcher, it’s a straightforward proces, just double click the icon and play the game
the /Affinity xxx is explained in the link below
https://www.eightforums.com/threads/cpu-affinity-shortcut-for-a-program-create-in-windows.40339/
the task manager interface is based on older windowses, but functions similarily in windows 11 you simply open task manager hit the gamburger emnu and go to detalis to perform the same right click on an app…
Also remember to delete the quotation marks from the target line iprovided and write your own, as this forum has the tendency to corrupt them. wrapping them to other symbols like start quote and end quote, windows does see the diference and refuses to use theese as an operator sign.
