Limit characters on switch lite

I play offline on Switch lite, and I can’t create more than 6 characters.
When I create the seventh, I save and quit the game, turning the console off and on again, the latter does not appear.
I checked if data are not damaged, they are not.
On the console I still have a lot of free space in my memory.
I tried to save data to the cloud, uninstall and reinstall the game, but nothing changes.
I also downloaded the latest patch, with no changes.
Can anyone help me or have similar experiences?

Confirmed. This needs to be fixed.
But I found a solution for this issue:
When you create your 7th offline character on Nintendo Switch, try to play this character a bit longer—find some NPC to talk and walk out from the camp then save & quit when your character was not in the camp. This should save your 7th character eventually even you turn off your Switch and turn it on next time.

Ok thank you, I’ll try.
Some time ago I tried to play until I completed the first mission, then up to level 1-2, but the character did not stay…

Try to make a “NEW” 7th character (delete all the old ones which mean you have 6 offline characters). Then use my previous mentioned method to create a new 7th character, start the game talk to two NPCS and walk out of the first camp then save and exit. Afterwards, close the game and turn off the Nintendo Switch. Turn on the Nintendo Switch, open the game and you will see your 7th character stays. Then you can continue to play this 7th character : )
This is to make sure your 7th offline character being saved firmly. Hope Blizzard fix this bug ASAP.

Ok I did exactly as you told me, but the 7th character still does not appear after turning off / on again…
I add that with the 6th character (assassin level 75) the buttons assigned to the skills do not remain memorized, while on the other 5 characters they do.

This is strange, on my end using that method will secure the 7th offline character…
Let’s hope Blizzard will release 2.5.1 patch to fix this bug as soon as possible.
Btw, on my PS4 Pro, sometimes my character’s skill binding was not memorized after each game…
A bug fix patch was needed for D2R console version, especially the Nintendo Switch version.

Ok thank you anyway.
I hope that sooner or later they decide to solve this problem … it is frustrating not to be able to create even one character for each class

Not just the Switch Lite is affected, for the regular Switch edition you will be able to reproduce the issue but with a higher number of characters - Usually character number 26-27 will be lost. I assume it‘s related to the memory. You will also notice some side effects like loss of the map or skill bindings when coming close to the limit.

It is strange, because the memory of my Switch Lite is very far from her limit…but I have to say that my 5th and 6th characters have some problems to keep maps and skills’ buttons saved
