Like it isnt obvious dev's dropping runes for streamers

Having a team to funnel him up the ladder every season is also extremely cringe.

Was going to post exactly that. I can’t hate on a streamer for just playing games they like, but I can hate on the entire industry for giving so much power and influence to streamers. Individual streamers may not have ruined gaming, but the streaming business as a whole has made gaming worse.

I personaly dont watch streamers - I know how to play the game . But Im also the one thats currently in act 2 normal 24 hours after launch due to work so i really dont care either way. Ive never found a Ber either so I dont worry about all those high end roonwords…

Eh, Terror Zones while could be better are fine but sunder charms are meh.

I find it bizarre that people think if a developer had an idea to create a controversy for publicity it’s a “tin foil conspiracy”. Like Publix sales executives “conspire” to decide what goes on sale that week. It’s literally just a business strategy. Not aliens.

Haha yes! Too damn bad I have to work 16 hours today then fix the garage spring when i get home. Life happens.

#SSF Ladder.

The show must going on

The fact another’s gameplay affects you so bad shows where the problem actually lies.

Shut off youtube and twitch and go enjoy the game.

Shady business practices I definitely believe in.

“Streamer luck” in particular, highly doubt it. It’s just RNG, it could happen to anyone, everyone has had a few jackpot moments in games like this, but when it happens to a streamer it’s suddenly the mustache twirling developers manipulating a specific character’s RNG behind the scenes so they can get a nice drop. Not even gambling streamers get that particular benefit, let alone 20 year old niche game streamers.

When there’s absolutely any evidence whatsoever other than footage of streamers getting lucky, I’ll start giving that one a bit more credit.

I have a masters in farts and ur full of it

Even if that is true, it would be an appeal to authority fallacy therefore invalidating his argument.

This whole thread is just dumb. You guys don’t know or understand how things work. Acting like having a degree and such means you can debunk rng. It’s all random, people get drops like this often. Also people give streamers stuff. So crazy how many adults are out here crying about how other people play a game  and honestly a lot of streamers are advocates for the gamers. A voice to be listened to because ours are ignored. Not every change made is liked by all but a lot of the times they are good. Streamer hate is just stupid childish bs. Grow up

reminds me of DansGaming getting a mirror in PoE despite playing less than my mom

With how rare mirrors can be, that would suck…

I just think of my terrible luck as bringing a balance to the universe cause someone out there has really good luck

Not a huge fan of most of these streamers, but a huge focused group, target farming with high efficiency should probably find some HRs lol. Bravada doesn’t have a degree nor common sense. To him everyone who is better than him is a cheater. He has another prediction thread up, 5 more days and we will see if D2JSP kills ladder after the 1st week. It will of course be another failure of a prediction, but at least he is consistently wrong. Betting against his opinion seemingly would net you billions.

It’s like im living in crazytown…

IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK TO HAVE A FAIR LADDER?

is it so corrupt that cheating and corruption is the norm and IM THE OUTLIER?

WHAT HAPPENED TO GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP?

Streamers ruin every game that they enter because they feed off of their viewers’ desire to be noticed publicly. They are effectively themselves + their entire audience. If they use that for any competitive edge or unfair advantage, then they’re also losers. They don’t matter, and if they ruined the ladder, then the ladder doesn’t matter either. That’s the grave that they dig for themselves.

Lmfao nobody pays attention to this forum from Blizzard unless something gets mass reported. You think they’d pay someone to watch the forums or that they’d use a volunteer? Lollll

I mean they do view mass reports eventually. And it could get you game bans if your game is linked to your account and you say something dumb enough. But typically they just suspend accts for a day from posting.
