- Superior Colossus Voulge (19-189 Damage, 15% enhanced damage, +3 Attack Rating, 4 Sockets.)
It’s not ethereal and not a tresher but maybe you still could need it.
it’s quite obvious he wants thresher for infinity, pretty sure about that. CV not gonna work for him.

Both are Polearms. A 4 socketed Polearm is the requirement for Infinity. So a Colossus Voulge can be used for it.
- Colossus Voulge (Damage 17–165, Speed 10, Range 2.)
- Tresher (Damage 12–141 , Speed -10, Range 1.)
- Giant Tresher (Damage 40–114, Speed -10, Range 4.)
It even has the highest Damage of all Polearm Weapons but a slower Attack speed compared to the other two. My personal favorite is the Giant Tresher, because of its higher range.
The Colossus Voulge is just an alternative offer nothing more. If he don’t like it, so be it. 
yes CV is a very bad base for infinity, you want good attack speed and thresher is mathematically the best dps polearm with the lowest level requirement. Btw, act 2 merc has a fixed range of 3 regardless of the polearm he wield…

Not to mention that Colossus Voulge has insanely high Str requirement. I’d rather the thresher.
