You can make a normal game.
You can make a terror zone game.
Now you can make a TRADE game, with a 50 player limit, confined to just the town. This wont happen on d2r, aha dont get your hopes up, but its possible, seen it on d2gadotnet on classic tcp/ip with more then 50 ppl in town trading and typing.
CEO/Board members/Share holders: Why spend money doing this when 3rd party websites and forums already offer trading services for free? (from our bottom lines perspective, anyway.)
Blizzard is down to lifting a single finger for this game, and that’s pretty much reserved for resetting the ladder.
You bumped a thread by clayclown over a comment that had nothing to do with the thread so the answer is absolutely no. Thread has been reported and this feature will now be automatically placed in the “do not consider for future updates” pile.
I like the idea, but what’d really be necessary for me to want to use it is some search features on top of it. People are looking for certain items, usually, so being able to tag a lobby with things like “Have: Shako, Lo, War Travs” “Seeking/ISO: HRs, Oculus, Tal Arm” and being able to search on those fields would make it much more useful for me.
In fact, if they just expanded the game search functionality to be able to do something lile this but kept the normal 8-player lobbies, that’d still be valuable from my perspective.
Sure, other websites can do this, but I’d rather have something in-game to use, and it’d be much more intuitive and streamlined than coordinating through a third party site.
