Just a PSA that almost all maps have a pattern that you can learn and you won’t need to hack and get banned.
The issue is that one requires effort and the other doesn’t.
Instant gratification gamers suck.

Yep, been running the neuron maphack for many years. It’s code is constantly being updated, so it will never be detected… Muahahahalol
Still looking for patterns for Arcane Sanctuary…
I think because it can generate the 4 types of path at random that it’s truely RNG.
The amount of times I’ve been called a bot, hurts the feelings a bit heh. I do quick baal runs usually and even if they ask if I’m a bot and I tell them no, I’m sure I’m getting reported on still.
Games generally have 2-4 directions and some tile knowledge can narrow the 4 down quickly just see the first few, then it’s sometimes still a guess but 50/50 odds are the best you will find in the game.
ok but you will be still faster with maphack and thats the reasonw hy people use it.
Sounds like my experience with rushing. Get a lot of “WTF that was fast” as I’m waiting for people to go in portals lol. I Just wish Act2 didn’t have that weird issue with the tiles not loading as fast as you can tp. Maybe that’s just on my end though.
I used to notice that on an older pc I had so could be hardware related or lag to server. I know the leapers in act 2 can become immune, not sure if that was ever fixed.
No kidding, stating the obvious… are we defending maphacks now?
Obviously hacking is faster I’m just letting people know that there’s actual patterns to learn.
You’ve disappointed me zax
A true alpha diablo player knows All tomb signs locations
One of my pet peeves for people to say that a map hack program is no more beneficial than knowing the tiles. I don’t care how much you know the tiles, you’re not going to know what direction summoner is. You’re not going to know exactly where Andy’s room is on Cata 3. You aren’t going to know if Meph’s room is wrapped behind the waypoint you came in on without going to the other side first.
A map hacker is going to lap you x 3 at least. There is no comparison. That said, you can speed your times up greatly by learning the tiles. You will never catch a map hacker though, for the majority of the game. Not even close.
No i am just saying its not same. Its not same to know maps vs using maphack. I did use it in past in old D2 for years so I know how good it is. People who want to be faster dont care about learning maps. Maphack was never just about maps also. Idk about this thing in D2R but old MH has variety of things in D2.
The “Neur0n maphack” should become a private joke between us all x)
As far as arcane sanctuary….
I’ve pretty much always started bottom left and gone clockwise. It seems to screw me over every time. Lately, I’ve been starting bottom right and working counter-clockwise. I know it’s rng, but it’s been pretty damn good.
True… but it’s actually less true than it was in OG D2. Load times are so much longer now that it’s actually significantly less of an advantage.
Particularly because the average botter lives in his parents basement on a 10 year old PC living off Cheetos dust and Mountain Dew.
And easily identifiable with either saying “jsp is not bad” or even better giving precisely details for how hacks work, yet Blizz doesn’t ban them cause potatosauce ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Two things
Yes…HACKING is faster
Secondly
They may have lapped me, but now they have to start from scratch…so who’s really ahead?
That’s not really true, I mean knowing the vague direction of the exit doesn’t mean you know where they are exactly.
Really none are fully predictable minus a few places, but it’s by design. Part of the game is your not supposed to know where the exit is. It’s the point of random levels
I would recommend maxroll and looking up map layouts
There are SO MANY patterns to learn
There’s a massive amount of literature on it due to how many there are.
You don’t need to learn them all just the ones you use, but to say
Which insinuates there are only a “few places” is completely
Incorrect
Map “RNG” is an algorithm
Algorithms are predictable
Won’t be very fast if you’ve been banned.
