Out of all of the people you can buy things in Diablo 2, who do you think people talk to and buy things the least? My vote goes to Halbu from Act IV because he has zero dialog. You can’t even ask how he’s doing.

Hratli and it’s not even close, quite literally in this case cause he’s too damn far away from everything else in the Kurast Docks.

All he has is “Gamble”, and disappears after journeying to save someone for Malah.

I repair stuff at Charsi, Fara (double plus that she heals, kinda best merchant in the game), Halbu and Larzuk. For act 3 I can’t even remember the name, just too far out of the way.
Came here to say exactly this… lmao, speak to him once when hes at the dock entrance, then never again. Same as Natalya to revive a merc, I will WP to A1 before I walk all the way up to her…

Natalya doesn’t revive Mercenaries in A3. Asheara does that but people rarely ever hire her Iron Wolves given that A2 and A5 dominate the field. I do visit Asheara but that’s to revive Merc’s and its like how Carbot portrays it lol. As for which Vendor I visit the least… eh it’s probably Hratli due to his location. His location does indeed suck, although Alkor is up there too given he only sells Antidotes/Stamina Pots and is the Gamble merchant who’s way out of the way like Hratli is. If I didn’t have to visit him for Quest 1 and 4, I wouldn’t even know his location half the time lol.
I think we can rule out anyone who performs repairs, healing, or gambling (excepting Nihlathak, who disappears). Asheara is technically a merchant, but her role is pretty much just to resurrect hirelings. I vote Asheara under the assumption that resurrecting a hireling doesn’t really count as a merchant action.
I’m surprised to see people say Hratli; I use him for repairs all the time.

Fair point, I use him to repair during Trav runs but only because of D2R load times, otherwise I took the waypoint to repair at Charsi or Fara haha.
I use Halbu for frequent repairs, he does get some use, however, Elzix in Act 2 is never used by me.
definitely nith or elzix, i literally never talk to them, i cant definitively say i have ever gambled at either one in 20 years of playing. i mean it would be absurd to think i haven’t at some point, but i definitely don’t remember it
Hratli is a no, frequently repair at him after duriel when he is first by the docks when u start act 3 before he moves to his lone shack far away
