Grief -
35% Chance To Cast Level 15 Venom On Striking (when comes to last-wish passives this doesn’t seem to great)
+30-40% Increased Attack Speed (okey this is nice)
Damage +340-400 (if you mix might with enchanced damage pretty much the same)
Ignore Target’s Defense (the same)
-25% Target Defense (Last wish does not have this
+(1.875 per character level) 1.875-185.625% Damage To Demons (Based on Character Level)
Adds 5-30 Fire Damage
-20-25% To Enemy Poison Resistance (for rabbies really)
20% Deadly Strike
Prevent Monster Heal
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
+10-15 Life After Each Kill (lvl18 life tap seems alot strstronger then this

There is no better or worse it depends on the situation. Griefs physical dmg is far superior and you can run reapers toll on merc for decrep wich pushes it even further.
LW is great for bosses and for p1 gameplay and ofc for Ubers but it falls short on p8 because of the diminishing return from crushing blow.
They are both great weapons

I been suggesting ppl use last-wish on new things for werewolf cause attack speed is void when you shape shift unless it comes from outside source

lw is more for pvm grief is more for pvp

ignore defense only works on most minions, I believe if they are bosses or specials or other players ignore defense doesnt work.

Last wish is better if you’re rushing down bosses. Like, by far. If you’re full clearing areas (which I’m not sure why you’d do as a melee class), then I think Grief would probably be a bit quicker at dispatching regular monsters, but not by much. People focus too much on its raw damage but they fail to realize that the thing that holds back melee classes isn’t a lack of raw damage but rather, being limited to attacking one enemy at a time, which is something that Grief doesn’t fix.

Overall I’d say Last Wish is much better, because not only is it a boss killer but it’s decent against regular enemies as well, whereas Grief is useless against the strong bosses unless you’re getting bailed out by Guillaume’s Face/Gore Riders (which would mean you can’t use Shako/War Travs). But Grief is also much, much easier to make so it’s a decent and fun thing to have in the interim.

Grief is popular because it adds massive damage to phase blades whereas % Damage doesn’t because the base damage is low.

Grief is much stronger. Period.
CB is on Gores,Gulli helmet etc

Grief is Better, LW is badly designed and counter itself lol (Blind overwrites Life Tap.)

Yeah, I use War Travs on my Zealot, which I’ve taken to using for MF because I find Sorc and Javazon mind-numbingly boring to play. I use Grief if I just want to fight through random trash mobs for fun, and weapons with CB (I don’t have Last Wish yet, but there are plenty of substitutes) if I want to just focus down the bosses.

The argument that Grief is good because of G Face and Gore Riders isn’t particularly strong, since that applies to any fast weapon with -% target defence and there are a ton of weapons that do that.

Grief by light years. Fastest base. GreT ias. Highest damage. All that cb from other gear is amplified by its speed. It’s lot cheaper.

Plus, pick your curse you want to go with it, for me ots a reapers on merc or a lawbringer in offhand. Especially for ubers

Anything vs Grief is not worth discussing.
You can use Beast as offhand if youre BvC.

Last Wish is better on Smiter for ubers but not sure if anything else. Probably Uber fury Druid too.
