Most people seem to agree this is the consensus, the resists are nice but I can find those elsewhere if need be. And while I don’t plan on playing a character other than sorc, if I decide to, it would be nice to have an Enigma.
Not helpful I suppose but I never use an enigma on sorcs.
Mind you I usually just end up wearing a skullders even doing end content or ormus robes. I would use it on something else myself but that’s me.
There are cheaper options and then there is BiS enigma. COH isn’t even on the list IMO.
Vmagi or Ormus or 3Piece Tals pretty much round out your cheaper options.
Enigma takes care of the STR req for spirit monarch, has MF, has FRW, and has some defensive stats that are great too. It is a bit pricey for a sorc who has access to teleport, but at this point in ladder you should be using enigma for sure.
Edit: I would like to note that for those who think maybe it is too expensive or whatever that nowadays with the shared tabs you can transfer pretty easily. I have a core set of items that I trade out depending on what I feel like doing or which character I’m playing. Enigma and my high roll anni and my high roll CTA I tend to swap out.

I’ve worn Enigma, CoH, Vipers and Ormus, they all have their benefits. It certainly isn’t a bad armor for Sorcs even if some noobs can’t get over that sorcs naturally can learn teleport 
Enigma has overall better/more stats.
