So I have a ryzen 5900 with a rtx 3080, ect… ect… And I experienced a decent amount of lag during open Beta.
I wanted to drop in and let everyone know, the lag is INTENTIONAL. It brings back Nostalgia, for returning players. The anticipation of killin Baal and waiting for Lag to clear so u can loot Fight, is something you can’t explain, and therefore must be experienced.
Don’t adjust your Computers/ Console, Just enjoy the Bliip, bliiip, Teleport backwards and… Dead… like we all used to as children. This is the sole reason I didn’t play hardcore.

If your talking about network lag and not peformance lag then how would your rig be the cause of the problem?

Sounds more like a connection issue(your too far from a blizzard data center, blizzards servers having problems, the network code having bugs, or your connect has some issues), but by the sounds of things it has nothing to do with the specs of your PC.

It wasn’t too bad but sat at around 100 ms. I’m hoping that’s its just because its the beta. Spent most of this weekend looking after my pc since I’m pretty lazy about that normally. Going to get myself an SSD before release too.
Back in the day is had 250ms+ most of the time. I was always the last person to re-join the chan and everyone was on their way in the ng before I had finished getting out of the last one lol. So its not quite the same as the old days really.

Running 128GB DDR4 Ram, SLI x3 2080’s with 1x dedicated physiX and a 1TB/sec connection and still getting game lag and warping
