Just because you call something cheating doesnt mean it is. Its your own definition and you migh rule out some things as cheating which are complete legal and fine. I just wanted to clarify that before i go further

No it is not cheating, you are wrong. Games allow it. Just like you can create game and ask for free. You could call it unfair advantage at best.
Not exactly, it depends on what you do. I would say that if you use real money to buy FG then yes, its cheating. If you dont use real money, its fine. I dont support it and see it as unfair advantage tho.

Personally don’t think Streamers are cheating, don’t think it is good what they do.
If you say D2jsp buy things with fgs they made in previous season is cheating, how about trading non-ladder gear for ladder gear, the effect is the same so this should be cheating as well.
According to your explanation I am a cheater, I sometimes, rarely, but sometimes use D2jsp, mostly to sell gear and maybe end of season buy some things to make a new build.
Trading in D2r is horrible, would love Blizzard to make D2r trading better, but don’t think they will.
Never paid money for anything else than the game though, wouldn’t even know why I would, would only shorten my season enjoyment.
Don’t have multiple account, but even if I had I wouldn’t use it to buff my HC character, don’t want the risk to die, don’t play HC.
Third Party Software imo should be Permaban or 1 Month suspension and repeat offense Permaban (depending on software, loot filter for example 1 Month, Bot Permaban)

It all come down to how legit are you? Is it cheating begging for gear? Asking for wp? Asking for andy/ ancient help etc???
I doubt anyone is legit, just play the game and have fun. Since trading is a big part of the game blizz really need to make those ban wave alot more consistent on a weekly basis.
Nothings gonna be perfect, people will cry regardless but i think getting rid of bots and maphack cheaters give the best balance.
Takes too much time, season 1 is it for me.

Of course I’ll be using JSP, but I mostly play HC anyways which is a tiny community and there’s really no possible way to do any trading without JSP.
I just don’t see how this is cheating. If you have purchased two accounts (or more) and have two machines (or more), there is nothing wrong with it.
ok first off your idea of “jsp users using gold from previous ladders” as “cheating” is absurd.
who is it cheating? this isn’t some competition… its a game with play for fun.
and besides if you use jsp you should know buy not that the stat of ladder prices can be 20-100+ times as much as they are currently.
if some moron wants to spend 40k fg they earned over 5 years of trading for an enigma at the start of a single season instead of making a sorc, sure why not let them.
frankly jsp rewards people willing to PART with their best items early on… and not buy them…

Hitting lvl 99 in a week? Sounds like he just admitted he will be cheating. Not possible legit, if you claim so, you’re a cheater and maybe don’t realize it. When ladder resets, I’ll be watching 1 week in to see what the highest lvl is. Any one want to bet it won’t be lvl 99?
