Ladder rewards suggestion

Now that ladder is pretty much equal as that of normal mode, i think blizzard should come up with rewards to differenciate the 2 modes and spice things up.

I think if blizzard can throw in some cosmetics reward as acheivement milstone. E.g. reach a certain level or kill certain bosses or time challenge.
Some ideas of rewards :

  • Portraits border with fancy designs
  • Character skin ( maybe a hot amazon look like wonder women since many find the current one manly :smile: )
  • Emotes ( somehow , i want a laugher sound of act 2 summoner)
  • Any other cosmetic overlay for equipments

Before any purist come flaming me, all of these should not have any stats/mechanics effect whatsoever. It will be just visuals like what you are seeing now and shouldnt be hard for vv team to create since they have so much experience to create visuals already for current remaster.

yea i proposed that in another thread as a possibility.
portraits that can be gotten each season and ladder and can be turned into “vanilla” or “personalized” in the menu so that you can see vanilla only or personalized as well.
(that way people against could simply toggle it off and only see the vanilla’s ones)

an example could be portraits with design of bosses from diablo 2
one funny example could be : one with border made to look like cows.

some other games that has season merely gives only fresh start and portrait and it usually seen as a good enough things for people to play it (+ the lv max race of course)
so i think some things like that could be a nice addition.

for example have as a requirement : killing baal in hell mode.
