Pls have a patch for next Ladder. February 15th seems fit very well for start date.

Very excited to start fresh again.

I doubt the 15th since it’s 2 weeks from now and they didn’t announce it yet. Announcement +2 weeks is the usual syntax.

Amazing, yet another week where we’ll be told that they intend to hit the reset button and continue to not care about the game. I’m so excited, can barely hide it.

So just uninstall the game and close the forum tab. Seems like you are done with it.

Anything can happen at this rate. Like in D3 S30 was announced early January and 1 week later S30 started.
They don’t give a s…t anymore about 2 weeks between old and new ladder

He clearly means Blizzard is done with game, not him.

Looking forward to embarrassing diablo 4

If you are crying that you can’t get excited only because Blizz doesn’t change the game and just resets the ladder and feel the need to post it in a topic that just tells you the latest about ladder reset news, then yes you are pretty much done with it.

Some of you guys should readjust your expectations about D2R.

D2R release date: August 13, 2021.

Well yeah I complain if I see D3 getting multiple patches yet nothing for D2R. I never expected more content to play but things like quality of life, currency tab, class balance, addressing Mosaic. There’s definitely work that can be done here.

D3 release date: May 15, 2012

The only thing being mentioned so far is a ladder reset, so I’m not getting my hopes up for any patches or changes.

That’s a safe bet, considering Rob Gallerani, the former head dev for Diablo II:Resurrected is no longer with Blizzard as of a bit over a year ago.

I doubt Blizzard is/was foaming at the mouth to replace him or his salary to continue further development for D2:R, which makes them pocket change only when they do banwaves + mark the game down 75+% a short while afterwards.

Did he leave or was he laid off?

D2R had only 1 goal: to create hype to the community for the upcoming D4.

Mission accomplished: D4 is now live and it’s the main focus for Blizzard arpg team.

D2R has no function at the moment, and I expect the next ladder to introduce the same amount of changes of the last one, which were nothing at all.

By 1 year things may change, but the situation is currently this one.

I hope I’m wrong, but I bet I’m not.

PS christmas period and its day by day content was fun, though.

D3 is for the masses, and is still active.

D2R is a remaster, a game already finished, the resets are enough for me and for many people.

I hope they don´t touch it anymore, because they are going to turn it into shiyt like D3 & D4.

D2R is actually a “live service game”. And since they ruined the game with the introduction of Mosaic, I really want them to touch it again.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don’t really understand the argument here. I mean D2 always just reset the ladders and that was that. It was perfectly fine. I’m not sure why more is expected now. I don’t really want more.

They screwed up the game with Mosaic last time. Sunders trivialize the need for rolling other characters thus reduced content and item value every ladder. I kind of want them to just stop.

Yeah. I would just like them to done down Mosaic a bit.

Thats my hope too, but honestly dealing with mass botting is much bigger problem they should deal with.
