Bit off topic here. So I recently got my hand on this 4 os 524 def archon plate, if I decide to make chains of honor in the future, does the repair price will be as expensive as superior or still more expensive than a lower one (I.e between 450-523 defense)? If it’s more expensive I might just sell it.

It won’t be anything as expensive as superior. Even if it was, you can always use a Ral rune. It is preferred to make things you want to keep in high base defense versions of the armor you want to use. If you have the runes to make Chains, you should be able to afford just about whatever repair bill.
Ok thanks death ! Yeah I was asking before bout superior and non sup difference just because it’s bit of hassle grinding for gold as I don’t build gold barb yet, tis why i prefer on non sup one haha
I always read that superior base raises repair cost, but never did a fair comparison myself. Wish someone can give it a try and let us know
Just to give you one data point, my superior wrymhide enigma costs 20k+ for one point of dur repair
If you can afford to put a ber in an armor , you can afford the gold to repair it
Roll high base , get back better resale return

Chancies plus Gheeds and you will be sitting on 20mil of gold like me on two accounts while gambling non-stop.
