As I played around with the new ladder, I realized that there is only one difference between the new ladder and the non-ladder, and that is that you can only trade with non-ladder people after 4 months. The ladder does not have any exclusive RW and contents.
Why am I playing ladder then? Off the ladder, I can kill monsters faster and then trade with other online players for cheaper prices.
The first season is very confusing to me, just makes me think that Blizzard simply made a ladder mode, in fact, it is still a continuation of the current model, I do not know what is the point of it?
There are like 8 ladder only runewords and a few ladder only cube recipes.

not only that, the ladder runewords are pretty awesome, especially Flickering Flame and certain missile runewords.

People play ladder mostly because they can sell good drops for a lot of forum gold during the early ladder time and then they use that forum gold to buy stuff on non ladder.
D2JSP almost nullifies your effort farming on non ladder. Bers/Jahs on ladder go for tens of thousands forum gold atm while on non ladder you can buy Jah for around 300.
So when someone find such rune on ladder atm he can buy like 50-100 Jahs on non-ladder for it. And it will get worse with every ladder.
