So I finally gave up trying to MF in public games and solo games because you cannot find anything in p1 games. I join hell games to mf and people immediately leave 90% of the time.
I have 5 accounts that I can load to MF my own games and now I get disconnected repeatedly. Google search says they do this to combat botting…….
HOW are people still botting if you get disconnected running 5 instances on the same IP? JSP is full of botters running multiple instances are they using VPNS for the other accounts?
They need to allow us to make our own games P3 and P5 solo.
the disconnection you are experiencing are not related to multiple instances, they are related to your specific situation. What is it you may ask? No idea, poor connection, poor quality or old router (theres a cpu in there and it gets old and weak), maybe your microwave comes on, etc.
Maybe try playing the game as intended instead of running multiple copies to exploit multiplayer mechanics? If you want /players X, it’s available for offline play.

You can’t honestly think the original developers of the game intended for players to buy and run multiple copies of the game to exploit multiplayer mechanics. Computers at the time of the original games release could barely run ONE copy!

who is restricting me from buying 7 more copies of the game, load them on different pc’s and play the game as I want? those 7 copies are money in their pocket, and 7 pc’s are money in someone else’s pocket.
Maybe I have 7 friends who play the game and they want to join my game and afk. I don’t see anything wrong with this. But of course this was not the idea of the topic. Someone is having problems with disconnects when he is trying to play the game legitimately, and all you can say is that it’s his fault
Frankly, the devs have been vague about this. As you know, we have an “allow multiple instances” option in the launcher, so it’s not necessarily considered an abuse by blizz.
Of course they’ve been vague about it, because they get more money out of the deal. Morals aren’t one of Blizzards strong suits as long as they are getting paid to look the other way.

No where in my post is anything remotely close to being an exploit. Were not talking about exploits and I am not asking about exploits. What I described is NOT an exploit nor is it against TOS.

Of course they allow multiple instances, they get to sell 3-5 xtra games for anyone who wants to take finding and trading loot serious. I am for allowing players to make a solo game and allow P5 or P3 at the very least.

Such a shame that some people can’t play the game as intended. Always trying to cheat the system somehow to gain the upper hand over true legitimate players. Those of you who do so are all a disgrace to gaming.
naw i can run 5 instances for like 5-6 hours in a game and not a single disconnect or eveen game disconnect on my end. this is all up until last week. i have left home, but i did run all 5 the other night off terrible wifi and my games didn’t drop at all either.
If you can’t find anything in p1, you ain’t finding anything in p8 either.
I play p1 online most of the time. Recently I’ve gotten 7 sunders and if I wanted to, I could sell them for a good bit on non ladder.. but I have found every HR, most every item has dropped for me and I have found plenty like 19/20 life SCs with resists, 40 ED/stat jewels, nice rare ammy/ring/circs that have fetched for quite a bit on traderie and d2jsp many years ago. These days, I just play an hour or two a day but still find plenty to keep and potentially sell.
I’m not. I just play which is more than 99% of the whiners on this forum do and I pick up everything. Lots of people miss plenty of opportunities to sell stuff…hell, you can make good profit by selling/trading easy to find crafting packs, or unid rare pelts, etc…
