Seems it was a secret patch eh? 
Not very secret. Launcher says patch December 2nd for version 2.3 and they seem to have a forum post about it with patch notes.
It isnt now but when I posted my question it was along with people commenting.
After downloading Patch 2.3 and played. Just like a week later, there was another download but smaller one. I would like to know what it is.
They were reticulating splines.
