Hello, Anytime I have Google Chrome loaded and i attempt to join a game, D2R crashes. I had Firefox loaded and had no issues. Once i opened Chrome, game crash/closes out.
any help would be appreciated.

Same. Specifically, when Chrome is playing audio, Diablo 2 R will crash upon entering a game.
Same things here … with Chrome launched, D2R won’t work ! It crash upon entering the game or if you already opened the game party, it crash.
Chrome is a big resource hog. I’ve been having troubles with periodic (largely manageable) crashes and I started checking task manager with Diable IIR running. It largely maxes out memory usage. Chrome is always second-highest user. Also, memory use by Diablo seems to surge when you join a game which would explain why it crashes then.
I like having Chrome audio playing in the background and I’m pretty sure it crashes less frequently with Chrome off. I suspect all of this is related to the same issue . I’m tentatively saying its a memory issue, but my analysis so far has been pretty superficial.
