Where has this fellow been the past 11 years? Haven’t heard a word from him since the catastrophic changes they made to Diablo 3.
Youtube Jay Wilson interviews. He has done quite a bit of talking on the decisions of the D3 team those early days in the last couple of years.
Well he called David Brevik a loser and a nobody who failed to create a single good game in his life, so rightfully the Diablo community tore Jay Wilson a new ***hole it was so bad he went into hiding in his basement, seldom doing some useless youtube interviews trying to deflect how he destroyed a franchise.
Luckily POE 2 is around the corner and it’s going to be the best ARPG the world will know
His version of D3 aged well. Not a good successor to D2, very true, but it was an interesting game.
Dawn of war was pretty solid IMO.
Poe2 is just another campaign
Poe died a couple years ago with its inability to create new content without powercreep
My biggest wish is to see a huge rebalance alongside poe2
He did an interview with Rhykker couple of months ago, yeah I guess Rhykker will take in any stray dog.
In 2016 he made his biggest contribution to the gaming world ever, he quit and left to pursue a different type of career.
Haven’t heard a word from him since…
Luckily, no one did.
jay wilson is this clown who stand behind d3 ? correct me if im wrong
and yeah, poe 2 is just alternative campain and rework of gem socketing
To be fair they completely redid the character animations and updated the graphics etc
Wilson was the clown responsible for the reprehensible murder of Deckard Cain by an effing BUTTERFLY. This person reaped a sh!te storm for what he did there, and rightfully so.
This is funny poe2 will do exactly what poe is now itll be an alternative to diablo however diablo 4 will probably out pace it for a long while
D2R could use some of his „double it“ magic.
He’s making a living resheeting drywall in trailer parks
Nah. You know what, that loser.
Jay Wilson is not only a terrible game developer but a terrible human being who fostered a lot of that frat boy club nonsense. Ignoring going on a tangent, he should never have been allowed to touch the Diablo franchise. The launch year of Diablo 3 was so unbelievably bad and the game has since improved dramatically since his being fired - the thing he likes to call “moving on” to save face because he damaged Blizzard’s public facing reputation with his little chat room stunt during BlizzCon, never mind the fact that he had a lot of backlash for his terrible implementation of Diablo 3 into the Diablo franchise.
For the uninitiated, he was a lead on the World of Warcraft team and was responsible for a lot of the “itemization” WoW has and he thought, and even explained himself, that the Diablo franchise could use some of what he thought made WoW successful - to the detriment of the Diablo name.
I always thought D3 had too much WoW DNA. Especially how items are tiered. Like how at level 60/70 you have to toss all your gear because it’s useless now.
Rhykker actually thinks D3 is a good game, so he definitely swings off his at max velocity
Rhykker’s a shill with no ability to think for himself, lol.
There was a recent interview with him.
I was left with the impression, that he hasn’t changed at all… zero lessons were learned.
Ah yes, Jay Wilson.
The man who doubled down on nothing.
How could I ever forget that fiasco that was the Diablo 3 launch.
The dumpsterfire that was the damage control when good ol Jay told us that we’re pretty much stupid to our faces and we were doing things “wrong” in the game.
Good times.
Wonder what career change Jay Wilson went into.
