I've lost my all of item!

Yesterday evening, my character died in Cow room and I re-entered Cow room to pick up a corpse with another item. I died one more time. So I re-entered after the game ended. There was only a second worn item in the village, but there was no item from the corpse that died in the first cow room. I would like to get it back, please reply. Talasha Mask, The Oculus Swirling Crystal…Talasha wand…Monarch…I’ve lost many precious items…i want it back. please help me.

When you S+E after dying without retrieving your Corpse, you get back one Corpse when you restart your game. This is whether you die once or multiple times. If you die multiple times, the Corpse you find in town when you restart your game, will be the Corpse that had the most valuable (Gold value) items.

You DO NOT get back ALL your items. If any of your Gold or items were dropped on the ground where you died, it will be gone when you restart the game.

(I believe the only exception to this may be if you’re playing Online, exit the game and Join the same game. Make sure you remember your Game Name and Password. Then you can retrieve your best gear from your Corpse in town and return to the place you died to recover the rest of it. If you play Offline you’re out of luck).

Maxroll/Diablo II/Resources/Mechanics/Death/Character Death/Corpse

  • If the Player were to S+E, upon joining the next game, the Character's corpse appears in the Act they enter upon arrival.
    • A Character may equip pieces of Gear before retrieving the corpse. If they then die and S+E, the corpse that appears in the next game is the corpse with the highest sum value of Gold.
  • If a Character dies more than 15 times without retrieving their bodies, then any equipped items are dropped onto the ground on the 16th death.

Sorry for your loss.
