Long Queues, in game lag that causes players to run in place and monsters to teleport, it’s 2021 how are Activation’s servers this terrible?

You guys will be saying the same thing in 2022 23 24 and so on it doesn’t matter what year it is all technology has problems every time i see “its 2021” all that tells me is that its a nother spoiled rotten generation Y or Z that acts like they’re entitled so stop with the its 2021 crap it really makes you guys sound childish
Their servers are very good. D2Refund has servers problems it is becasue how much resources are assinged for its servers.
This is a F’ing Diablo 2. Back in 2003 a barebone P200 was ok for server. Are Blizzard that poor that can not afford a bunch of outdated hardware on local fleamarket? What the f is going on, seriously?

Completely separate from this game, in my experience blizz has garbage servers.
Nah frankly it’s pathetic that there are hour long queues because Battle.net can’t handle the number of people playing a 20 year old game. There’s no excuse for the servers to be this unprepared in the year 2021.

This is my working theory…
Acti-Bliz isn’t actually bad at this.
Rather they made a business decision to intentionally underutilize server capacity for D2R. Then after the game sold, they threw their hands in the air and said “well, what do you expect from a 20 year old game? This is the best we can do with this ancient code.” This would hopefully placate the masses in the hopes we will see it as a one-off and still buy D4.
Afterall, any money made from this game is pretty much pure profit at this point.
You do know COD doesn’t have queues or other servers problems (maybe lag here and there) compared to this game? And here’s the big difference with COD, tens of millions of people in those servers. Yet, Activision who owns both companies, can’t give this game better severs for the maybe 100,000+ who bought it on consoles?
Oh that’s right, no microtranctions, no billions of dollars in profit.
It’s not that Activision is bad at this (servers), is that they don’t care. They cheaped out and lied to us. People need to stop defending crappy companies.
Not sure, I guess they did not anticipate this many people playing and purchasing this game. A permanent fix might be people giving up trying to play and the servers don’t have as much demand lol
Well they lied about off-line there is no off-line it’s a 30 day off-line DRM i requested a refund

I’m actually not going to buy d4 because of this issue and how activion treats lower games not COD level.
