Items Disappeared on Switch

Earlier today I tried to open Diablo 2 Resurrected on the Switch, and it told me there was an update. I didn’t feel like waiting at the time, so I declined. After I got in, I started playing as one of my off-line characters. I moved some items from one of my shared inventories to my character’s personal inventory. A little while later, the game closed unexpectedly. When I got back in, the items were gone from both my shared inventory and my character’s inventory. I decided to run the update to see if it would fix the problem, but it did not. Additionally, when I look at the version number after the update, it ends with ‘TEST’. That is, right now I’m running on 1.0.67043 TEST. I checked to see if there were other updates, but it said I had the latest version. Not sure what’s going on, but if at all possible, I’d like my items back.

I also did a test where I moved an item from my stash into one of my character’s personal inventories, waited for it to auto-save, and then force close the game. It didn’t save the move. It’s like the auto-save feature isn’t working anymore.

I had the same problem. I lost a Sacred Rondache with +35 res. There have already been many posts that talked about lost items in the chest, but after the last update, items also seem to disappeare from the inventory. That sucks!

I also noticed that the save symbol does not always appear when you exit a game … so not even save & exit is safe anymore. I wonder how this can happen … I’m really pissed

This save and exit needs fixed… Lost anni and pally combat skillers, Nintendo switch offline. After save and exit game closed, items I put in shared stash that game before poofed.
