I started a throw weapon barb with item find. And my question is, if i dont stack him MF, is it better for the item find skill to find runes or the skill works differently?
I know that MF doesnt count on runes but does it count for the item find skill?
i`m not 110% sure
but personally rune are not rare or magical item , but are white item
my barb have 0 magic find all damage for faster clear speed and rune still drop very well , same with find item

No. It has no bearing on the number of Runes you’ll find (you don’t find more magic items and less Runes for example, nor is there a greater chance of getting a Rune or a better Rune, etc.).

AFAIK Find Item works the same as the initial drop, just giving you the skill’s chance to drop another item as if you killed the monster again. So the MF interaction with runes (neither helping nor hurting) should apply to FI as well.
