no thanks. things are fine the way they are

we do not need to make drops easier to get. the drop rates are what keeps d2 addictive

So if and when Ladder seasons start, how long do you think they will last? 3,4,5 or 6 months? A game only designed for the top 1-5% of the player base is personally a poor design. I play quite a bit. More than I should and that has been since launch of d2r. Still have not gotten anything of value above a Fal rune. I do not want to swim in loot, but when I see videos of players claiming of doing 100 runs or a 1000 runs of a boss to get 1 item then that is just plain stupid. I played D2 back when it first came out 20 years ago. It was okay then. Not so much now. Adulting gets in the way.
Yes the game was fine back then, but you know what mods was made that enhanced the game. Drop rates changed, enhanced stash space, stacking of items. Most of the other video games I have played that allowed modding the developers ended up implementing those changes into the game because they happen to be good ideas. Personally I think to many people think about the game as “How good it was”, and dont get me wrong, it “Was” good. My personally thought is to much of the game is dated and needs to updated.

Drop rates doesn’t need to be fixed, they are working as intended, and are great. Stop complaining, this isn’t d3. Put in the effort to get those HR’s or be happy with whatever you’ve got.

You dont need super-rare items to beat the game. You could faceroll everything in the game without wearing any of the super-rare items.

This is my advice. You can never get all the goodies of the game with this kind of RNG unless you play this game 24/7 like you have No-Life. On D3, there were some rare items that I didnt get the whole season but I accidentally got it on succeeding season/s. On World of WarCraft, I spent 35 weeks of raiding Black Wing Lair during Vanilla and it didnt drop my BiS item whereas other guilds disenchanted more than 5x of this item. That’s RNG. But RNG is not always cruel to me… sometimes I get lucky where I get the BiS from the whole expansion like within a month and the expansion lasted 2 to 3 years.

You dont need drop rates to improve. If everyone has super-rares, this game would be facerolled easily… and the game would become a joke. For me, the rarity of items currently are fine.

" The ilvl is a number that is used in many game calculations. In Classic [Diablo II]/ [Lord of, ilvl is invisible, but is usually equal to the mlvl of the monster which dropped it.

So it is like this already. In fact here you go, all zones with mlvl;
