I agree. More respecs would be nice, even if it’s just 3 respecs per difficulty. If you really need more than nine, I really don’t know what to say.
Even if I was unable to do Den of Evil in Hell mode and I was stuck with 6 respecs, I would be fine. But only 1 each? That’s a bit limited for a ‘resurrected’ game of 20 years+.
Because of that limitation to an old game, I am seeking ways to test a character/class. For example, I think of Grim Dawn when I play D2R. I am playing a 2 pistol atm (offline) character and I have respeced at least 3 times and I am only in my 30s atm. I am testing different spells and combos -as I am playing the game- and progressing through the content. I am having fun learning the class and skills and look forward to playing that low level character vs. my level 76 Assassin using fire traps. I don’t want to waste my respecs, nor do I want to get stuck with a respec that I don’t like or doesn’t work.
Remember this is a remaster, not the original. Need some QoLs that will keep the players playing the game.
That’s why I was asking about an editor for off line play so I can test other builds. Maybe since I have many points to spare, I could try the martial arts tree or a hybrid of martial arts and traps.
To the few people I see here and there saying ‘play the game,’ I do. I play the game and wish to continue playing the game. It’s fun. Once I can target a certain build to my taste/playstyle, I will copy that online. Of course starting the character at level one not coping the modded offline character to offline. Some people need that clarification, quite sad really.
To the many people that were helpful and informative, thank you.
