so there i was tanking lilith, died (obv) and then it crashes. I come back in expecting to see my body and there is nothing there. is there a way to open a ticket to this dumpster fire? if not i just lost an almost perfect geared zeal pala and im done with this game
unfortunately, no. 
needs too many words to explain this. google it to figure out, many people were hit by this problem. but basically, it’s own fault.
if you can’t understand the exact reason, remember just esc to restart after your hero died.
prob died with something on or nk and the crash gg’d you.
Sigh. I’m going through the gear that I had in the stash and I’m trying to decide if I even want to play anymore. I’ve been playing it for 20 years and was so excited to play it, but this is not playing. And losing all my gear I think is gonna be the nail in the coffin

That’s the problem though, my toon is still there. So I have a crap geared lvl 88 pala. I lost a grief (which had been made about an hour prior), 2 ravefrost, Ghis visor, steelrend, goreriders…=(
Blizz may actually have a backup of your account. I can’t tell you if the will actually restore it or not but they did say that the have a regional host where you guy is saved and a global host where it’s backed up. Your guy is messed up not because of a bug but because of a communication issue between these 2 hosts. I would open a trouble ticket, but I’m assuming you are asking how to do that since all the support given is self help and forum driven. Good luck friend.
