At endgame with BiS gears, everyone should be able to clear every content with ease. The struggle should only comes in early and mid game. It’s strange and counter-intuitive that you can kill diablo and baal, but can’t even kill a filthy little minion.
Often in these threads, I worry that some confuse time-consuming and difficulty.
You easily can with mercenary… there are no monsters that are both elemental and physical immune at the same time… and if there are, they are mostly enchanted to some element elite and stone skin who are still manageable with a third damage source.
This theory has been debunked many times that you can easily get a lower resist/amplify damage weapon as secondary weapon… just because you are lazy or dont like to do it does not mean you cannot.
Alternativaly co-op and group with paladins and/or necros or equip weapons with elemental damage like gimmershred, balanar, lawbringer, hellrack etc.
I should emphasize the words WITH EASE
You can with a merc but you can’t easily. At p5-8, merc will have a big hard time finishing the immune mobs for you. P1 is easy of course.
The game becomes to easy and boring when you pay to win use d2jsp using third party programs. Who is playing legit and from zero my biggest respect to them they enjoy game
Exactly this, and who ask for changes are mostly those fair legit players. Multi-clienters who use those trading websites are not even playing the same game.
What if the game becomes too easy for the legit players from zero?
Game no good. Game old. Not content
This game has been too easy ever since 1.10 in 2003.
Ive found nothing in tz and my highest rune since i came back (fresh start) was ist from hell forge.
yeah but you also prefer to walk and play slow. So nothing new here. People that don’t play the game properly struggle to get loot fast.
Hehe. Its not all that slow. I typically start in a1 and clear every high level zone ending with baal. I do use a tele staff on occasion if i wind up in dead end far away. Never timed my runs but i figure 30min to an hour.
I didn’t say i struggled to find gear, just that ive not found any. No real good gear nor runes. Couple really nice small charms. Few skillers. Couple decent rare rings.
“Classic gameplay—the same Diablo II you know and love, preserved.”
Was supposed to be, but Blizz literally cannot a single thing right. There isnt a hint of talent left in the company. You can be happy for changes all you want, but LoD will likely outlive even this game, or a more likely scenario is you’ll quit a couple weeks into ladder because you never really played the game anyways.
Its actually you who doesn’t know how to play the game. You’re decided you’re the one that gets to declare whats fair and legit, meanwhile JSP is thriving.
This applies to all remakes. Common sense please. It was never supposed to be, it released with changes and they were discussing ploot even before release:
They were very transparent and honest. Seriously, some common sense.
Also no, D2:LoD will not outlive it as it had like at best 1000 non-bot players in a good Ladder, for like 2 weeks only.
I mean, it says it right on the Diablo 2 website, today, in 2022. Maybe you can tell me what they mean by it?
Edit: Im waiting, did the definition of Preserved throw you off.
Re-read my post, the answer is there.
Wow, that response wasn’t worth the wait. But you seem to be the great decider on these forums, the guy that chooses whats right and wrong. I just want to know, what do you think they mean by that.
Classic gameplay—the same Diablo II you know and love, preserved.
I mean, its right there, on the website when it lists D2:R’s features. What do you think it means?
In all seriousness, did you believe that was true when D2R had 29 changes at launch and each major patch/season brings even more changes so far?
Did you read Blizzard’s pre-launch interviews?
I just want to know what you think they meant but putting this on the website for their game. Surely they didnt assume that 100% of the copies they would sell were to people that watched their pre-launch interviews. Just wondering what purpose “Classic gameplay—the same Diablo II you know and love, preserved” would serve by placing it right on the official front page of the website for their game. Its still there, right now, on a page theyre selling the game from. Its even listed in the games features, bullet pointed.
