Yes it would not be worth the risk if we didn’t have the bnet 1.0 version to go back to. Since we do, it’s worth the risk to me. I don’t trust nu-blizzard but perhaps they care so little about this game they’ll actually let decent people manage it without having to go through four departments of psychologists and human resources first.
Actually, the game was fine in 1.09.
It was patch 1.10 that introduced synergies and left the game horribly unbalanced.
Blizzard North never went back and balanced synergies after their introduction. (Due to their soon-to-be-scrapped D3 project)
With D2R, Blizzard used the last 4 months to look at the data to see what characters and builds people are playing.
I imagine their data showed them everyone playing Hammerdins and Sorceresses en masse.

Not for me. I play neither nooberdin nor sorc and have a lot of fun with the game. If it bothers you, that’s your problem only.
and why do people always come with the patch 1.09 ?
The game ran for the last decade with Lod. if you still do not like it, so be it.

I agree with this. It’s a double edged sword.
At first, it gave companies the ability to fix and improve things they may have missed.
Then they got greedy and lazy, and players got complacent and stupid. And they started using it as a means to release half-assed pieces of software that they would then monetize to an extreme degree. Purposely leave out content that most of the time is ALREADY done, they just want you to pay for it. $60 for a game, then another $20 for one more level and a few skins that took the “devs” 1 day to create.
Honestly, I blame the player base more than the companies. Just like I don’t blame the woman who sells her farts for $1000, I blame the pathetic men who pay for it.
Its pretty simple the purist are going to cry and scream! They had fun for a little while they had the game they thought was amazing and its not!!!

I think classic really needs a shared stash or some good way to transfer items, but they said from the beginning that classic wouldn’t have one. They didn’t mislead anyone.

well the game does everything they said it would. As for Classic, they said before the release that the stash in classic would remain the same as it was in the original game, with the possibility of changing that in the future. Anyways, no point in threatening a lawsuit if the chances of that happening are slim to none, and the chances of winning that type of suit is probably closer to none.
You are the minority now. No one cares how you “feel”. Games getting a much needed change. Enjoy it, or go play the original that’s still going.
