Hi,
I just drop a yellow eagle orb for my sorc lvl 18 with 2 socket in it. I wonder if the eth rune work on that? That could be cool to have -50% defense on my skill for my merc to make more damage.
What do you think?
No, it only would work for you and only if you did a melee hit with your weapon.

Defense doesn’t reduce damage. All defense does it reduce hit chance.

That’s just what i did 
Find a 2 socket staff with some bonus to fire ball. Put tir ral in it.
Suddenly you have the best early game weapon possible for a fire sorc 
Personally I like to go fire sorc in normal, cold for nightmare, cold/fire in hell until I can get infinity and go lite.
Edit: just want to clarify, it was tir ral to make leaf, didn’t want to leave misinformation up.

I just did it, and i use firewall, it’s an amazing spell that i never use, it do so much damage that’s crazy
yeah, Firewall is your serious killer in normal. Needs a bit of practice and a relatively tanky merc, but I used it all the way through normal and even into nightmare on my Meteorb. Drop it on bosses and watch them melt!
then you run into fire Immune Lister and run screaming like a little girl.

That’s what scares me.
I will try a firewall/blizzard build but building fire first.
Don’t know if it will work i will see when arrive.
That’s too bad that hell is that annoying only for sorceress though. Every other class can do hell and deal with immune but sorceress looks like the toughest one to build for hell.
it’s not bad, you just need to build safe. Fire/Ice is a good combo, Frozen orb is best option for that since it doesn’t have any synergy requirements. It’s slower then blizz, but you have 2 elements to work with.
Meteor or firewall are great with it. Meteor does more overall damage but has a delayed response that some people don’t like.
