Hotkeys should be expanded, the ability to only activate them with the mouse is out of date and the game mechanics of the current situation are poor.
Your concerns would be valid if it weren’t for the fact that Diablo 2’s interactive interface elements weren’t already super simplistic. Extra hotkeys won’t do much if any good.
There may be a few areas to touch up on but nothing major. I think the game’s intuitive nature is pretty solid.

just because it doesn’t work the way it does in newer games doesn’t make the mechanics worse. and if you can’t handle it…well…not your game.
or play with controller. makes a lot of fun. (except the …laggy inventory. dont know why thats so laggy oO…)
