Install D2 on virtual machine

Friends, can I install diablo 2 resurrected on a virtual machine with a second account?

Running it on a VM means drivers won’t have direct access to hardware and the performance will likely be horrible. What are you trying to accomplish? If it involves any remote access to the game that would be against their EULA.

As far as I know with the current VM’s out it wont run.
I tried to test it back when game first came out to try and run more than one copy.
Don’t know if anything has changed since then.

what I’m looking for is to be able to open the game 2 times, one for my main character and the second for the screams of the barbarian xD.

NOT REMOTE

18 years ago you had to have two computers to be able to do that.

Isboxer , it costs per month tho.
But 100% works

Very bad idea now. Blizzard has taken a stand on mutliboxing in WoW (and that policy usually applies across the board). They no longer allow any software or hardware that facilitates running multiple accounts. That includes the various boxer software programs out there.

If someone wants to manually put D2R on two computers and play, they can. Any automation or streamlining of that can result in an eventual ban. They can detect that software.

From my understanding is if you are using it to control 2 windows with 1 mouse would get the ban but not having 2 instances using it…
like 1 just fills the game and other is bo barb.
Both accounts aren’t being controlled at the same time?
Like keystrokes etc
There is no automation involved
