Whats the best base to use for insight on bow?
Some amazon bow with 3 bow skills? Are there better choices?
Where to farm those bases so Larzuk only adds 4 sockets? (example: like crystal sword in normal cows)
I cant keep my act two merc alive in hell (FO/Hydra for me). Thinking that at least act 1 merc wont go near monsters and could freeze them also.
As far as keeping your merc alive… Teleport is your friend. The merc teleports with you.
Yes Act 1 mercs don’t rush into the fight, but they can still be easily overwhelmed.
Yeah, i know, but that act 2 merc insa goes back in to danger where act 1 would stay at the spot and shoot and may be freeze those monsters.
The main idea to this post is - where to farm amazon bows that don`t give 5 sockets but 4.
Use Treachery runeword for armor.
You have a few options for a lifesteal helm: Andariel’s Visage, Crown of Thieves and Vampire Gaze. Undead Crown also works as a starter lifesteal helm that is relatively common.
Also you can get a prayer merc. The prayer aura synergizes with Insight, giving a big bonus for the healing effect for both you and him. A prayer merc with insight will heal from a sliver to full in roughly 20 seconds.
As far as farming good bows with 4 sockets, you’re going to be farming level 85 areas for Grand Matron bows with +3 bow skills. If you find a non socketed normal one, you can use the cube recipe to try and roll for 4 sockets. (won’t work for superiors)
Grand Matron Bow or Matriarchal Bow.
Matriarchal Bow is faster and deals more damage with no external Ias.
Grand Matron is slower and will deal more physical with treachery and ias/andy (Matriarch still more damage skill wise as attack speed still higher).
Don’t think these can drop anywhere they always spawn 4 sockets, for that you should divert to lesser bows.
Stag Bow normal cows would be 4 sockets, less damage but +3 skills and decent speed.
Blade Bow and Great Bow always roll 4 sockets, will likely drop reasonably often in cows with no mf, so can farm for a 4 sock one, good speed (like matriarch) just no + skills.
Keeping alive is mostly 2 things.
Good use of teleport above everything else, she walks the wrong way, you teleport to a save location.
Second have all resistance maxed, bad resistance can case ranged death quite fast.
Basically how do you keep your sorc alive, mostly good res and teleport away from danger 
Edit: posted before checking, alas it seems Ashwood cannot drop from normal cows, really thought it would, it seems for guaranteed 4os larzuk you’d have to go to even lower amazon bow type.
Probably best to hunt for Blade and Great, make Insight (cheap anyway) and wait till a 4os Matriarch drops.
I don`t have access to LEM rune at the moment. So thats of the table.
As for life leech i don`t have anything you mentioned as well.

If you haven’t tried yet, give the prayer A2 merc a try. You’ll be surprised how much beefier it makes him while he’s being a monster magnet.
Don’t forget to take the gear off your current merc before switching!
Hell cows and also pindle’s bunch of minions often drop sockets. Take all your MF off. I have found 3 4os bows there including a hydra bow.

Mr Llama has a “bowazon play through guide” where he waits for a certain point for a stag bow to drop so it will get 5 sockets. I think it would get 4 in norm cows and he ended up using socket quest on one he found running nm countess.
