No point in investing money into these upcoming titles looking at D2R’s bot problem and the lack of support.

If Diablo 2 has taught anything to Blizzard, it’s that open trading begs for bots. Because there will always be some sucker somewhere who has money that wants all of the good items now and doesn’t want to invest the time playing the game to find those items. And there will always be a back door available to conduct the swap of game pixels for money.
So expect trade restrictions and higher drop rates in future Diablo titles, similar to Diablo 3.
Remove the opportunity to make money, a big motivation to have bots in the first place is solved.
I love open trading in the game, but unfortunately not everyone plays by the rules, and enforcing those rules is becoming an ever growing problem.

Too bad immortal is coming to PC, it had a chance mobile only, now it is 99% bots

Well immortal when it was mobile only was promising as far as no bots, but now coming to PC it is doomed

U didnt expect there to be bots in d2r? I would say plenty of ppl bought the game even though they knew there would be bots. Its not a diablo exclusive thing, there are bots in pretty much every game where u can make money out of it.
Ppl will buy d4 anyway. Its 2022, bots is standard in most games.
One thing is bots, another is them running around without consequences
Blizzard got a hax team which ban botters. However they dont keep logs in any diablo game so they pretty much are forced to catch ppl in action. Bots arent a rare sight in other games either. Compared to other companies blizzard isnt doing less.

They should go ahead and implament a in game bot. Maybe rent its use at an hourly rate. Maybe Uber company can be contracted to drive your mf bot needs. Uber eats? No Uber play the game for me because life.
So like every other game? Bots don’t even bother me anymore, they aren’t going anywhere… no matter how much any of us complain. It’s just our sad reality… I’ll be getting D4, but Immoral… yuck.
There were many flipper bots during the RMAH. Anything that can be automated, will be automated by someone. Auction houses and especially centralized auction houses are easier to program then any moving bot.
Well as long as blizz allows backend employees to play the games, they will have bots. They are the reason bots started, extra money and they had the access to do it. That is also why they don’t fix it. By now, it is more than obvious!

This Is totaly true, they dont wanna fix dc bug on hc, they dont wanna ban bots and make game legit, they dont wanna refund. This company Is joke. They can just take cash. Dont buy d4 you will have game of bots like on d2, d2r, d3
