Hello All,
I am making this post because I have a fear of change. I don’t care if the change is good. I don’t care if things stay broken. Just so long as they don’t change. Change is scary to me.
I don’t want diablo 2 to change. Diablo 2 was my childhood and if it changes. My childhood changes. If diablo 2 changes Blizzard will be responsible for taking my childhood away from me, rather than the normal passage of time.
I don’t care if the bugs don’t get fixed. I don’t care if the same few builds stay the only viable ones. I don’t want new content. I don’t want new features. I don’t want new classes. I don’t want new acts.
We don’t need a PTR if nothing changes. Nothing will change so long as I have a say.

You could always play D2? You’ll be happy to know that has no changes at all! What’s that you say, some changes are ok? You only only say “no changes” when you have no well reasoned rebuttal to others ideas how to make D2R better? Oh ok.

Blizzard never makes something better.
What they supposed to do was copy/paste code and add new graphics, textures (unchanged)
They couldn’t do it even this part right.

Diablo 2 is a video game…Diablo 2 Resurrected is a NEW video game.
They can change it as they see fit, it’s their video game.

Conclusion = You are being selfish & acting like a needy child…on a video game forum.
Reality check needs to happen. Relax, it’s a cool video game. I personally would LOVE to see them change as much of the game as possible; if it’s fitting & in the game developer’s best interests; or if they just want to work on the game more & have fun while doing it.

Game feels and plays like trash, mostly because there’s no direct animation when char hits the target.
I played HC for 20 years, and new version is total garbage, even with new textures.
Sorry you feel that way, maybe played too hard too fast?
Pace yourself & enjoy the smooth ride.
D2R is waaaaaay better as D2 original only because of the nee graphics… I like it!
But now im in Endgame and… Well… I dont see some endgame…

Endgame? I mean its a fact that D2 dont have really Endgame compared to other Games. Baalrun etc is not Endgame, because every arpg has bossfarming.
I guess only Ubers would be some kind Endgame…

Sure, but on the flip side most change requests are people that have literally zero idea what it means or how it changes the game. They have spent about 10 seconds thinking any of it through even basic theory crafting.
I mean a new act? You mean diablo 4 because who is going to make new acts that fit a game from 20 years ago? lol. A new class maybe would be doable, but you cant make new content for a game where the original team is gone. It does not really work. Its going to look like diablo 4, but in diablo 2. It will stick out like a sore thumb.
