So let me summarise. OP is quiting because a lvl99 char, in expensive OP items, on P1 one shots everything. Like every build on lvl99 in BiS gear would oneshot on P1. Think before you start the drama.

I mean Purists are dead by now, and rest of us are talking about new balance to improve the game, if they don’t change current Holy Fire, guess what, everybody is gonna play Dragondin only, and kill everything without even touching.
My question is, did you even test Dragon build by yourself? My bet is you didn’t even watch it yet, and clearly don’t even know what you are talking about. It literally makes you just walk around and kill everything that is even out of your screen.

Sorry mate, but it looks like you only have to stick to Hammer, which is the only build you can play in this game.
Sorc hydra/holy fire is my favorite build now. That’s the way to use holy fire. With fire mastery.

why is one shotting cows with max gear at level 99 considered difficult? why is it such a big deal? im glad you guys are wasting your time on this ptr figuring this stuff out and not me.
I mean… I feel like you get BiS at max lvl you should be able to do stuff like this

What if the skill acted basically as an AOE static field with diminishing returns so you had to use hammers or another spell as a killing blow?
The new Auradin builds are WAY too strong in both pvm and pvp, even with scattered gear options provided in the PTR.
This is #1 priority feedback in this patch imo.
It’s ridiculous and it needs to be changed back to normal.
Auras simply do not need buffing at all. They are a toxic mechanic.
Hopefully blizzard keeps holy fire how it is on the PTR. This is a fun mechanic. It’s only something you can do waaaaay into ladder so it’s fine. A reward for a lot of farming and high level.
