I just tested it out. It is pretty stupidly powerful at the moment. Requires a ton of expensive runes and resistances are trash though. You don’t even really need to use zeal unless they are broken fire immunes and even then not really. You can just charge all over the map and one shot everything. Hilariously powerful. Used the new helm just for kicks. Haven’t tested if that is better than other options or anything though.

This is a fun option for late stage ladder. Anyone poo pooing it doesn’t know what D2 is about. The devs are impressing me with this stuff. Maybe they are actual D2 fans.

the ptr just sucks, Not enough items to test with. Its all just a waste of time. Fire paladin is not something new. Auradin paladins always were extremely strong when properly geared and could kick alot of @ $ $… We just cant tell anything with this sub par item selection. You cant build a character like this for testing LOL

hammerdin can p8 easy with less currency than this auradin.

also it don’t do any damage to bosses (the aura).

The item selection is fine. Was able to make what I wanted to test. Are they perfect bases? No, but they get the job done just fine.
It seems insanely OP in 1-3 player games, however, I haven’t been able to test it out with 8 players in hell because we can’t see public games.
I will say though, I tried some pvp with friends, and a single tick ends up one shotting almost everyone.
Here’s another problem though, we don’t have access to all of the items, so everyone’s resists are insanely low. For example, I can’t build Rw’s in a pally shield that gives +res, only the dinky little tower shield I could find in normal, lol.
All in all, I think the auradin is OP, but how OP remains to be seen since I can’t play with 7 other players and no one has any resists without access to proper items.

Yup! Esports has really destroyed fun gaming. I want to be able to farm all ladder long for the possibility of making this build. I would love to be rewarded for all that time farming with a build where I can walk around and everything dies. That’s diablo 2.

Im glad that you feel that these “tutorial” Items allowed you to appropriately test Balance for end game with this ptr. But it did nothing for me. I need end game items for testing. Not beginner items. Thank you.
It’s not a bug. What used to be a bug was infinite stacking by unequipping and re-equipping Dream, causing it to stack again and again as much as you wanted.
That was the bug, and it was fixed.
Working as intended now.

people are just naive, those runes will be very expensive now, even cham will cost a lot plus a lot of sur runes and LO, thoise 7 HR needed are like 10 or 12 in the actual first non ladder price. let’s see how many weeks need the people to make this auradin.

It is p1 hell. Normal bases do just fine. They at least had elite bases for the weapons.
I bet it gets a slight nerf before they go live. I do not mind though. Broken builds can be a fun distraction.

Javazon at least has to click/perform actions/attack/use quantity? It’s one thing to be powerful and actually have to do something to exhibit that power. It’s another entirely to click once, run around, and every cow dies the same/as quickly/even more quickly than a Javazon, that’s just busted. Javazon is already the upper echelon of busted for something like Cows, to even fathom a world where something can do it not only better but far lazier, would be something indeed.

Still can be fun, gonna get on later and play with it before it changes. 
Some of the most fun builds ever were busted as hell and made me smile. They all got fixed in time.
Here’s the thing, it needs to be tested with 8 ppl in the game.
One shotting entire screens in single player games is the norm for all casters.

I tried cows on 1 player with 2 dreams and dragon hoj super fun as stuff dies in 1 pulse but that is not happening on 8 player anyway… no need for anyone to qq these are expensive items
