Ok let’s assume we get what we want and have personal loot (D3 style) implemented Yay! How will multiplayer change? What will the new meta be? I think its important to think about these things to get a better understanding of the effects of such changes.
I foresee multiplayer being the most attractive form of playing. You wont need as many powerful players in a group due to support meta class setups. Perhaps have 1 or two (to deal with immunities) powerful DPS dealers and the rest will be support “buffers”.
Everyone except the DPS will have full on MF gear to increase the odds of getting better loot drops for the group. Sounds fun and exciting!
Hate to say this, but I wouldn’t put it past Blizzard from putting out the game to appease players like yourself and after the refund windows expires, bring out the big changes to attract more players. Players who would rather wait a bit and let you “play test” the game to get rid of any frustrating bugs.
and many won’t purchase the game if there won’t be such option…so yea it doesn’t lead anywhere to say that.
there’s ton of people using the refund threat for about anything and everything like crybaby in this forum.
Personally i bought it and whatever there is or won’t be in this game won’t be changing my mind anytime soon because i’am a D2 fan.
people keep asking for changes in this game but you know what?
this game been there for 20 years and people still play it, tell me any “modern” game that survive that long with all the changes that those people want to make in diablo 2 resurrected.
none!!! people want changes that all the “modern” games have and die after 1-2 years.
don’t convert a 20 years old game to a shi* game that will die in 1 years for make those changes.
if something it’s good you don’t need to change it, and D2 it’s the proof where we don’t need those changes.
and another thing, i bet those people that want these changes never played D2 and only played D3 or don’t even played a diablo game before.
Based on your response I dont think you understand the concepts I am talking about.
Zelda
You cant kill Diablo, it will always come back stronger!
You sound angry and scared of change.
And bad outdated game mechanics should be changed. Unless something is perfect, then it should not be changed, but nothing in life is perfect. I want change because I want more modern players to join our community and game to make the gaming experience better, not to satisfy selfish purists that don’t want to improve a beloved title to its best version. D2R will change, the process has started and if its popular enough more drastic changes will come.
zelda isn’t multiplayer as diablo, but if that’s your only answer you alredy confirmed me there’s no other game like diablo and people want to destroy it and convert it as another game that we already have for thousands in the market.
idk why you say i sound angry for say the truth, are you mad because i’m right and you can’t find some real arguments to fit to your point???
you want a modern game? then why you want to play D2R?? this isn’t a new game, you have thousand of games to choice like grim dawn or POE.
to finish yes, you can kill diablo, D3 it’s the proof of it and we will see how d4 will go.
Hear me out here … Or maybe people just don’t want to have to compete with players using bots or programs to auto pick up loot … You know like whats been used for the past 20 years or so.
Stop with the ridiculous trope that people “haven’t even played the game” if we want sensible changes. It’s the fact that we’ve played so much that we know these things need fixing.
Stop clinging to the #nochanges nonsense and use your head about what would actually improve the game and player retention.
