so i got banned for botting, it was well deserved, i knew i was going to get banned eventually but now i want to play again. can i just buy another version of the game on my same account or do i need to make a new bnet acct?
With a new/different Blizzard account, yes you can.
From what I understand, once you’re banned from D2:R, you’re banned for life from the game on that account.
Lesson learned, I hope. 
Blizzard is watching. 
Should ask such questions on that d2jsp forum of yours or wherever you learned how to use bots.
