I hope BillGate disbands D2R team

where is the promise that they claim NEVER try to dramatically change how D2 plays? With how PTR goes we are gonna see another copy of D3 pretty soon! All skills can easy mode hell P8 with blue gears, all followers can solo any hell boss, what is next? they are gonna let everyone access to D clone like walk in a park?

For gods’ sake I have said it again and again DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE ANY SKILLS/BALANCE, just focus on QoL !!!

wtf with lobby? serious overhaul needed to be player friendly. categorize it in boss/trade/cow/quest/leveling etc etc! stop the auto refresh! store last game name by default! be copy paste friendly!

inventory space! how is it fun for players have to port back to town dozen times in a single cow level? we demand double the current inventory space! on top of designated charm tab/space! attach Horadric cube tab to the side of inventory window permanently once acquired! let gem/rune/potion stacks!

If D2R team really cares there are a lot more QoL things they can work on instead of resting their hands in their trouser and delusional thinking D2R following D3 is the right track.

It’s turning in to Diablo 3 because they actually believe that Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 share the same identity more than not. But they want to convince people of that so they can funnel in to Diablo 4.

All of the little changes are adding up. Soon they will have to add additional difficulties since nerfs are off the table at this point. It’s going exactly how D3 did even with a seemingly “minor” patch.

They never said they wouldn’t change anything.
I remember very clearly they said they will look into it but the initial release was just a graphics overhaul.

i do not mind changes,

what i do mind, is the changes they’ve gone for… like common, who the hell is working on this team… do they have brains? have they played the game, what user feedback have they listened to exactly to get to this point, i’m so confused.

To address your title. Bill Gates does not run Microsoft or have any active role it, not even as part of the Board. He has not for many years now.

Correct. There will continue to be some changes as we go. Hopefully one of them is more character slots.

Did you actually play ptr or do you just want to throw a tantrum? As for auto refresh, it is gone, and refresh button works now and has a cooldown timer before you can press again. Messaging now on login and lobby screen to communicate updates and news.

He just wants to throw a tantrum. Inflation destroyed his retirement saving & the idea of d2 nostalgia is all that’s left

Many players have been wanting class/skill balancing for years. The only path players had up until D2:R were mods.

What’s the point of having a skill if it is completely useless? Either make it useful, or get rid of it.

What do you mean hopefully? Its an easy decision and easy to implement… Explain yourself, if you want it in its in. You just want to milk us some more, only making sure Im never buying another product from you ever again.

MVPs are other players with green text, not Blizzard employees. MVPs don’t speak for, or represent, Blizzard. They have have zero moderation power, don’t have a way to talk to Devs, and obviously don’t get paid by Blizz (or anyone else).

You have never bought anything from me.

As Robert Gallerani said, the fish will grow to the size of the fish bowl… And he’s right.

If they increase the character count, as soon as the majority have mules loaded with gear, we’ll be right back here asking for more player slots.

Perhaps then dont say “we” as if you have any say in the matter

the exact reason why it should be unlimited like it always has been… DUH

And you are taking it from one extreme to another. I really dont believe people would give the same complaint as they do now. The main reason people are complaining is because you cant even create 1 char per class for each playlist (hc/sc nonladder / ladder)

If that is solved 90% of complaints disappear

I like the direction 2.4 is going

And it isn’t turning d2r into D3

Stacking inventory and currency tab are

Making skills more viable are not.

I want more player slots as well… :stuck_out_tongue:
I think it ought to be 20 character slots per mode… That alone would be a great change.

Opening up the “unlimited” gate has its downsides… There are those that will take advantage of it… cough Item selling websites cough

As we go - we the players go forward playing the game and getting patches in the future.

Another thought on limiting characters, it makes it easier for Blizzard to track down the caches for item selling websites… If they’re caught, accounts and items get nuked… Item seller crying a river.

blizz dont care about that man, if anything they have a hand in it
