So I have to say game is so much better with Sunder charm and Frozen orb sorc. I can do all content and its freaking amazing. I wish other chars could do it too same, its sad some need high end expensive items to over come terrible “immunity” mechanic.
-74% cold res is painfull tho I sometime got oneshot by cold enchanted bosses with their explosion
I have to say that it doesnt feel OP, just game play is better. It still take me 5 minutes to make Diablo run.
This is what I have been saying, now undo the nerf so we can also play Fire Sorceresses and many other builds (Trapsin, Firesin, Fire Druid, and much more). They were never OP it’s just emotional people scared of change that never even tried them.
I just hope they straight up remove Immunities and get rid of the charms, luckily not many monsters use Cold element, compared to Light/ Fire. Fire element characters in general are just screwed.
Also ploot, /player x command, better exp level 95+, slightly better drop rates, cheap runewords for Teleport won’t break the game I promise you. Stop being so afraid of change.
There was never a challenge in skipping monsters, it’s just tedious and it limits build variety. Epitome of terrible game design.
Updates do not turn the game into something else, if they did, D2 has already turned into a different game how many times again? It only stopped getting updates because Blizzard ceased support. D2:LoD is for you, no need to be negative here.
Back to topic: If they won’t unnerf the Charms at least add very cheap alternative for conviction that works in different slots.
Git gud, every player knows dual speccing + merc physical damage was the way to beat the game. Only noobs went full synergy one elemental damage and skipped mobs or never got weapons with high ED and elemental damage for physical dmg builds.
D3 is for you, a remaster was adverstised with QoL changes no meta or gameplay changes.
Removing Nerf doesnt solve anything as immunities are still issue untill you get Infintiy and other end game items, They would have to rework multiple skills to achieve balanced game bewteen classes and builds.
“Dual speccing” means inefficiency and playing an element you don’t want, it’s not rocket science unless this is top-level intelligence to you then that is something else. Watching your Merc kill monsters slowly with Static Field is not what I consider a skill. I am sorry your standards are so low, but some of us like real challenge. That’s just sad.
No. D2R is for us. For you D2: LoD. This “remaster” (it’s a full-blown remake of assets at least get this right) was never advertised as such - it is a made-believe by you delusional people. They even discussed ploot before game launch and said they will add more changes. All Blizzard games are live-service.
Honestly they should just remove Immunities that is all, stupid game design. It’s an artificial challenge for not so smart individual that are easily challenged.

Not wanting to be very inefficient and slowly killing Monsters is not asking for easier game. It’s a lame handicapping.
Removing broken game design is NOT a buff. Immunities are just limiting and even fail as an artificial challenge. But hey if you found it challenging and mind stimulating then that’s good for you, but don’t have to be negative here and mad at people for not liking it.
No need for Immunities you can give those Elites high element resistance so they have more Life, way more fun than immunity staying for them.
Would end up at -100 whether you give them 0% or 95%, that’s the whole problem.
You could go with no immunities, but only if you remove the - resistance stacking (or CM that can do it by itself or Conviction that gets is most of the way).
That’s the whole reason why these charms are so strong, they nerf that effect partially but left it for cold mastery so now sorc’s at lvl 75 with a charm can rampage if the player has even a little skill and beat everything if the player is drooling on their keyboard and has one arm.
Sorceresses used to be able to go double/triple skill trees and still be viable, before synergies came along which forced you to spend 80 skill points pumping the damage of a single skill.
Now the game has become spamming a single skill for the entire game without deviation, this is not an improvement
Its no different than D3 generator/spender spamming.
At least Static Field and multiple damage spells got your fingers to work instead of boringly holding permanently your left or rmb.
