I cannot whisper

Hello,

I cannot communicate/whisper people ingame in D2R or at least one way of the communication does not work. It’s the same for some months already. I have 8x 99s on this acc, it’s my main.

I checked with another account of mine and I do not see my own message.

I checked with a friend, he sees my message, but if he sends me a message, I do not see it.

Both my friend and my other acc are on friendlist ingame, so same conditions different result..so weird.

I already checked the support page for restrictions (both EU and US) and there is none active for my account.

I also checked my email, there is nothing there, only my ROTW purchase confirmation from February.

I checked my ignore list, it’s other btags, mostly spammers.
I also verified that in-game in D2R settings, “Allow online chat” is checked.

I have also checked that in Account settings page, on the website, “Private Text Chat” is set to ”Everybody“.

Around the time I got this happening, I was reporting ingame spammers (site item sellers). Maybe report worked on wrong account??

What gives?? Please help, it’s horrible to not be able to talk with friends ingame.

My 1st topic was just closed without any answer from Blizzard either.

Therefore, it has to be a bug.

I’m considering not buying next whatever you release if I can’t get this basic thing fixed.

You can whisper others but not hear others or your own whisper?

Sounds like you issued a /ignorewhisper command .. did you try /unignorewhisper ?

I haven’t used that command on my friends.

I 100% haven’t ignored my friends lol.

This happens regardless of friendlist or not friendlist, new people.

And I just checked my ignore list, it’s other btags, mostly spammers.
I also verified that my “Allow online chat” is checked.

I haven’t touched it anyway since I reinstalled and repaired several times.

I do not have this issue on other account, only this one. So what is so special to my account that I cannot communicate using whispers ingame?
