I´m tired of checking every 10 seconds, if a hydra vanished. Please add a counter, showing how many hydras are available in stack.
Like assasins traps have? Which they don’t kinda the point. Just pay attention to what you’re doing and you’ll know when to keep popping more hydras. You get into a rhythm and you’ll just know. Not everything in the game needs a counter to help you out.
I second the request for a hydra counter. This skill is proving to be an effective tool, for a low gear multi elemental build to use before you can afford an infinty. But when dodging/attacking and using other skills in combo, it is easy to lose count or some have expired or whatever the case may be. It would be a huge QOL improvement. It’s much easier to keep track for a trapsin, and they last much longer, and it’s all you do outside mb when needed.
Maybe you should go play the original version if you hate qol in game. This is great qol and should be added for sure.
It’s not even a QoL change. A counter doesn’t tell you how long they have been out. A counter doesn’t place them in the map. You really do NOT need to be hand held every step of the way. It’s not hard to just keep spamming hydras (which you’ll have to do as you move throughout the map ANYWAY) when you need damage.
You’re not a summon necro where you need to keep track of your army to a degree. Teleport, cast 3-4, stuff dies in the 10 second window. Rinse repeat. How hard is this, really?
You obviously haven’t played hydra as hybrid so stop spamming skit lmao. It’s not about if it’s necessary but it’s QoL to know when they are expiring if you throw 5 in and start spamming frozen orb or whatever.
I played hydra/orb as one of my first ever d2 chars until they nerfed hydra into the ground and made it useless. I know how the class works, which is why even as a “QoL” change, this is just not necessary. The devs have much bigger fish to fry.
I agree. Necro and Druid summons have their counters. Traps also should (they are considered minions) and so do Hydras. It would be a nice QoL improvement.
No QoL is necessary. Game worked fine for 20 years. Cancel D2R and everyone go back to D2. I rest my case.
