The Hustle Rune Word is being added as an early mobility option, providing increased Movement Speed without the teleport aspect of the Enigma Rune Word.

The Hustle runeword in a bow is a fun idea, but why not add the increased attack and movement speed to the passive skill tree for the Amazon? This would solve the need to use a Hustle to pre-buff your character every 3 minutes.

So instead of adding the weapon Hustle runeword to the game boost the Amazon Passive Skill Tree as follows:

  • Critical Strike also adds Attack Speed per level

Optionally:

  • Evade also adds Faster Run/Walk per level

And for QoL:

  • Pierce also adds a Chance to not consume your Arrow/Bolt/Javelin

The biggest drawback to this is that it would only benefit the Amazon. As another alternative you could add Movement and Attack Speed Crafting Recipes, adding a decent bonus like +10-20% Faster Run/Walk and +5-10% Increased Attack Speed. This would give players the freedom to add the mobility bonus where they need it.

All things considered it will be fun to blast away with Multishot or Strafe as an Amazon buffed with Burst of Speed or watching a Frenzy Merc attacking and moving at even crazier speeds. Just watch the PTR feedback for suggestions on this one.

While the Hustle runeword in an armor will make you more mobile, why not use this idea to give an almost unused existing runeword Radiance some much needed shine? This will make it available much earlier at level 27, will complement armor runewords like Stealth and Smoke runeword and will not increase the number of runewords players need to remember.

So instead of adding the armor Hustle runeword to the game use the mobility idea for the Radiance runeword:

Mosaic Feedback

The Mosaic Rune Word is designed to buff Martial Arts Assassin builds. It grants a brand-new effect that allows for a chance to not consume the charge when using a finisher move. Note that the effect still occurs but the charge is not removed.

This is a great idea, but with some practical issues. The chance to not consume a charge when using a finisher move will throw off the rhythm, unless the chance is 100% but then you remove the Charge-Up and Finish mechanism entirely. Also you’d like to give players the freedom to enjoy this mechanism with the weapons of their choice. Why not build on this idea and add it to Claw Mastery?

Instead of the Mosaic runeword:

  • Claw Mastery increases the number of Charges gained when using a Charge-Up Skill, for example 1 extra Charge for every 20 levels of Claw Mastery

Optionally:

  • Claw Mastery also increases the Maximum Number of Charges, for example 1 extra maximum Charge for every 10 levels of Claw Mastery
  • Claw Mastery also increases the Charge Duration
  • Each charge beyond the 3rd increases the Damage of the Finishing Move

And for QoL:

  • Claw Mastery adds a chance to not consume durability

Kick finishers really get gimped if the mechanism is tied to claw mastery, kicks don’t get any benefits from it and some of the best kicker weapons aren’t even claws.

Would be nice if the PTR 2.6 changes also take into account those weapons.
