Will it seamlessly reset at 8:00est or will there be a time you have to wait in order to create a new character? Also, do you have to move your gear into personal stash in order for it to not disappear when the characters are rolled over?
The reset is very fast, the entire process lasting roughly 1 second.
1: The servers become unavailable, disconnecting anyone who might be connected.
2: The flag on every character that specifies that it’s a ladder character is changed to non ladder.
3: Any items still in your carry over remove-only tabs from Season 4 are deleted, and any items currently in your Season 5 shared stash tabs are moved to the remove-only carry over tabs in non-season.
4: The servers become available, Season 6 ladder starts.

Well, depends if it’s the devs doing it or Raymond.
Raymond is getting pretty good at it with fewer and fewer issues each time.
