How to stop lobby bots

Bruh, just learned this

Right click the bot’s name to see the exact spelling of the name, then whisper the bot. Once the whisper goes through, click the bot’s character at the bottom and block it. It will spam you with whispers that never go through and not the lobby. Enjoy actually using the lobby for its intended purposes for the FIRST TIME in TWENTY YEARS BLIZZARD.

It’s not 100% effective, but it works most of the time

all of these solutions while ok at first glance are useless
while you may not see lobby spam, every other player will and therefor your message will never been seen or just ignored

the only solution is one that works for all simultaneously

Not if the bot is busy trying to spam you in whisper chat instead of lobby chat. Then, nobody sees it.

this dosnt work there is a LIMIT to the number of bots you can block k thanks.

There are only 2 ways to get rid of bots, both of which won’t ever happen.

  1. Remove the lobby.
  2. Blizzard bans the accounts doing it (It’s obvious it’s spam) how hard is it to sit in chat and right click a spamming account and ban it.
