Since a lot of people dont know this and has hard time with quest change in 2.4 regarding act 3, i will give you guide how to skip organ collecting and even travincal council quest.
Step 1
Ask someone for travincal waypoint.
Step 2
Join any public game which looks like people are past Act 3.
Step 3
Go to travincal, run to entrance to durance of hate and just walk down. Entrance will be open.
Step 4
Find waypoint in durance of hate 2 and take it and leave game.
Step 5
Make own game, go to durance of hate 2 Waypoint and from threre to kill mephisto and progress to act4.
This is very easy on normal. Little bit harder on and Hell because of bigger maps but rusher can helpmyou find entrances amd wp fast and lead you to it.
Keep in mind that you can use only own town portals in durance if you skip quests.

Or - learn to read a3 maps, it’s really not that hard; they have a clear pattern, much easier that to search for a maggot lair and claw viper temple and 4th waying the arcane
Learn the theory, do a few run throughs and it will all make sense and you might even enjoy solving the act 3 puzzle.

Why would you learn maps when you can skip it fast? , jungle is basicly the worst with map generation and time consuming to find organs. Its also quite dangerous on hardcore.

How did you come to that conclusion. I dont enjoy game because i post guide how to skip act? Dude i have completed that quest by finding organs thousand times already, i dont need to do it every time to enjoy game. When i make new char online i want to have that char on hell as soon as possible. I did collect organs offline just yesterday btw.
Whole game is grind, what you do after playthrough? I would guess grind also.
I dont really like baalruns as its boring leveling. Pindleskins? I like to run them yeah.

Quite the opposite, it is THE BEST map generation. Not just a large square with an exit in a random spot on 1 of the walls.
They are 2x6 rectangles. Which helps you understand on which side of the river to look for dungeons\caves\waypoints, and on which side to look for an exit to the next area. It’s much quicker than act 2 desert levels where you have to check every wall on the upper and lower levels, and waypoint and the dungeon are just randomly somewhere in the middle. There’s a clear optimal algorithm for junlge, unlike desert’s just “exploring everything until you find it”

It is not, not at all. Act 2 is piece of cake in comparison.
Show me video how you find it fast, faster than you can find staff=amulet, all 3 organs and then i will take you seriously.

he spent 5 minutes traversing the desert and collecting cube-staff-amulet; he was very lucky in the viper tomb too; he still has to explore arcane sanctuary (2.5 directions on average) and tal rasha’s tomb (+1)
he spent 4.5 minutes collecting organs in act 3, and that included almost full exploration of the sewers; and he had travincal waypoint at the end, just left to explore 2 durance levels (1.5 less levels than act 2)
let’s give a 30 second discount for act 3 potions being stronger, allowing him to teleport more often, and we still have act 3 being faster - because it’s almost done after collecting organs

Ok great but this os not topic aboit speedrunning. This is topic how to skip act 3 where you hsve to collect organs.which is hated by majority of player base. Yeah you can learn 20 hours in detail msp generation of act but why ehen you can do it much faster and safer?

Generally speaking; and this is true on any platform…people you trigger will most likely respond first and more frequently. People that like what you post don’t always chime in but people who don’t are far more likely to. It’s the way of psychology on the interwebs.

Speedrunning Diablo 2 is really not that different from regular gameplay, it’s just faster. Apart from baal wave skips there is absolutely nothing unusual in speedruns.

that’s way too complicated, and pointless. in the time it takes you to do all that with multiple games it doesn’t take but a couple minutes to get all the organs, and less than one minute with teleport.

Does this mean they had to have done the Act 3 quests in the game before you got there, or could this be done in a chaos/baalrun game or something?
Also, if does this mean you can go into a game where Act 3 is already done, then just ask for durance wp and it will work now?

People enjoy the game differently. I’m amazed how many people like you seem to have no clue about this fact.

Any CS or Baalrun is fine. The game host must have the khalim’s relics quest completed. Join in, ask for Trav WP. Then avoid the council and walk\teleport to durance of hate level 2 and get waypoint there.
I guess it’s fine for normal and maybe nightmare, but running past council and searching for durance 2 and wp in a P8 game on hell is a suicide mission.
Hate me all you want, but I hope developers patch this issue too. They should make you unable to use the Durance 2 waypoint if the Khalim’s Relics quest is not completed.
