Been a long time, I feel like I used to be able to powerlevel fast by gettign cow level runs? Is that still a thing? or really my question is how do I powerlevel an alt now?
Assume this will happen at a later date when the lobby has been fixed and ladders start to become a thing.
I remember you’d get rushed through Normal-Hell then it was off to Hell cows for a few games, just gotta try n not get hit by the cows haha.
To boost up until the cow level I would suggest equipping a bow and having a specialized sorc Enchant buff you. With just lvl 25 skills it is around a 1.3k+ damage boost
yeah exactly. maybe i get rushed through to hell and then join in on chaos runs for xp? or is there some kind of xp block if you’re with a player too high lvl?
Simply by playing through the game. You can get to level 65+ in a few hours if you already have leveling gear.
Here is a basic “starter” method of leveling:
Do a “trist” game from level 1 to 15 (I prefer first doing Den of Evil in a game called “free stuff” by myself for the first 5 or so levels. I make the game and then just don’t reply or party with anyone and unsuspecting beggars come in looking for gear while I level off of them)
Kill Andarial or get rushed through normal
From level 15 to 20, do tomb games
From level 20 to 24, do normal cow games (optionally do tombs to 24 if you can’t find a good cow game)
From 24 to 25, kill your normal ancients
25 to 40, normal baal runs
Get nightmare rush
40 to 60, nightmare baal runs
Get hell rush
60 to satisfied, hell baal runs
Each of the instructions from level 1 to 24 can be enhanced if you have a friend with an enchant sorc, and if you’re savvy you can get 1 to 24 done in about 15 minutes.
You can do this entire thing in about a day if you have a friend with enchant sorc who will also rush you.
Yes, you can do this if you get a Grush. From level 1 to 25 it’s pretty slow in chaos, but after that it takes off.
The way it works fastest now is this:
To raise your characters lvl to 20 in order to kill normal Ancients and go to Act5 is this:
2 methods
- Act1 Trist runs to lvl 15, then move to Act2 tomb runs to 24.
1a) Cows to lvl 32+ then do normal Baal runs to lvl 40.
or even faster method
- Chant sorc will level you 1 to 25 in less than 30 minutes.
2a) Baal runs to lvl 40.
This is the routine most HC players use for that fast level to NM and beyond.
Of course there are those that get grushed to Hell Act5.
They can level to 70 in less than 30 minutes by doing 8 man Hell Chaos runs.

Fastest way is “g rushing” or “glitch rushing” which lets you bypass the lvl 20 requirement to complete norm ancients. A 3rd member of the party needs to be at least level 20 and needs to also require ancients quest to be completed. then if ancients are killed you will be allowed to kill Baal for quest to get to nm even though you are not lvl 20.
Trist runs are noobish as hell

You can ask a friend to help you out.
Not everyone has access to a grush.
But not when starting a new season.
Which is why I listed the two fastest ways and of course the absolute fastest way at bottom.

Normal Chaos is a bust until lvl 25 and still much slower with a much lower lvl to reach cap compared to Normal Baal runs at lvl 25 start.
